Born and raised in the outskirts of Montreal Canada, Julie had the opportunity to explore nature. Julies passion for art started early: "When I was young I spent my days searching nearby fields, ponds and streams for secret life and hidden treasures. It would inspire me to express through art what I had seen."
Julie spent 5 years with the Inuit in Arctic Canada as a teacher. She also spent time in the Canadian Rockies and loves scuba diving. The Canadian landscapes and wild live on land and in the sea can be found in her art today.
Today Julie lives and works in Minnesota. She studied under many internationally know artists and now teaches what she has learned in workshops of her own. www.livingwatercolours.com
